When viewing the large number of artists on the Shannon sites, many have asked us how we are able to service so many artists and writers at one time? The answer is simple: through building relationships and a very large staff at Shannon.

We have doubled the number of our reps and support staff over the past year, getting our artists record levels of work. Each rep specializes in a certain market, enabling each to function as a small boutique company, while benefiting from the synergies of operating under one umbrella. This specialization enables us to reach more clients in more markets than any other agency of any size. Client relationships are built one person at a time, so very simply, the more reps a company has working on behalf of their artists, the greater the artists' exposure.

We have also made significant investments in new technological infrastructure, enabling us to service our clients and artists more thoroughly and efficiently.

While smaller rep companies say they are able to offer their artists more individualized attention, they are extremely limited in what they are able to offer their talent, and therefore also limited in the number of clients they draw.

Among the number of artists and writers that we represent, we try to avoid hosting artists who compete with existing talent unless those in a certain genre are so busy that we need more than one to meet the ongoing demand of our clients.

Our goal as representatives is to get each talent exposed to as many clients and markets as possible. We do that in a number of ways - through promotions, direct mailings, phone campaigns, portfolio viewings, advertisements, sourcebooks, special events, and our websites.
